Quintessential Cottage

This charming cottage lies deep in the heart of a quintessentially English village.  The client had extended the property and wanted the interiors to remain sympathetic to the cottage whilst reflecting the personality and busy lifestyly of the family.

The brief was to assist with colour schemes and finishes for the new kitchen and create new layouts and built in storage solutions for a bedroom/study and master bedroom .

Visual interest was created by recommending traditional floor tiles in a medium toned grey to blend in perfectly with the monochromatic colour scheme of the kitchen.  So too, with the master bedroom by laying a cosy, tonal striped carpet.

A bespoke slatted screen was placed in the bedroom/study to create different zones whilst maintaining a sense of  space and light.
